But Nothing Remains

I search for the feeling
but nothing remains –
except recollections
of losses and gains –

I faintly remember
the last time we met
and what we did then –
through pain and regret

I know that I loved you,
I think what I felt,
but nothing remains –
just a faint trace of guilt
